Team Production Week1

Added a character switch, being able to control one or the other character in a different control scheme. The camera also changes along with control.

The camera can switch between the characters with both control schemes.

Team Production Week1

Created a test environment for building future gameplay mechanics, brought in code from prototypes and began optimizing for the current testbed.

Researched pathing for the A.I.

Researched connections between a child and another character.

Design Journal 6

Week 8-9

Continued work on weapon code, had asteroids spawn in the level. Was able to have damage applied to them.

Week 9-10

Got all weapons prototyped.

Week 10-11

Applied UI to the game, got all ships spawning in their own level, have ship death, with a win point.

Design Journal 5

Week 4-5

Continued work on Capital mothership. Worked on damage textures for ships.

Week 5-6

Continued work on Capital mothership textures. Finished up the damage textures. Created missle/rocket pods.

Week 6-7

Dropped the ball, barley accomplished anything. Was tasked with re-focus on the weapons.

Week 7-8

Re-focused on the weapons, brought the asteroids into my test level and scripted the weapons to cause damage. Finished Capital mothership textures, finally.

Design Journal 4

Quarter break-week 1

Finalized the warpaint on the Capital frigate. Imported ship models into Unity.Set up controls on each ship.

Week 1-2

After feedback, adjusted controls on the ships. Made up some concepts of the Capital Mother-ship. Collected weapon models and imported into Unity. Applied the Heavy Cannon to the fighter and worked on the code. Animated some of the weapons.

Week 2-3

Applied code to all weapons to make them fire. Made Capital Mother-ship model sheet.

Week 3-4

Finished model sheet, started to model Capital Mother-ship. Imported textures for ships and weapons into Unity.

Game Prototyping Design Journal 3

Week 8-9

Started work on logo's for the factions, made them gray scale before color was chosen.

Week 9-10

Group chose colors for faction's, applied them to logo's, finished main texture for Capital ship, started applying  extra details, like war paint.

Week 10-11

Finalized logo's for factions, textured and scaled heavy cannon, continued to work on Capital detailing.

Made up Model sheet and started model.

Week 5-6

Finished up model, was approved for unwraps.

Week 6-7

Unwraped UV's, approved for textures.

Week 7-8

Started textures, making the clean textures first, having places for weapon mounts.
